The reboot of HMD

I just rewrote HMD part 1. It is now called DEAD PEOPLE STOLE MY JACKET. It will be out in 2 weeks.

  1. Hey Mr. Ortiz! It's weird not seeing you when I'm going to Mrs. Pickards, wish you still worked here. I was trying to see how I could contact you and this was the best I could find. Sadly I will not be able to compete in track my last two years of high school, but I am so glad I was able to have you as a coach for my last year in track. You taught me more than just high and long jumping, you taught me that sometimes it's best to back down instead of pushing through the pain. It is a valuable lesson that I would never have learned if you hadn't talked to me about it. I would have been too injured to play volleyball and basketball which would have been devastating for me, I basically cannot function without being able to exert myself after a long day of sitting down and packing my brain with a lot of stuff that I really don't need. Because of you I am able to continue two of the sports I love.
I also wanted to tell you that reading your book encouraged me to continue writing mine and finish it. I have always wanted to be a famous author when I grow up. Actually knowing the author of a book I read really got me inspired to complete the book I had started and stopped dozens of times. Along with the whole writing my book, I needed to figure out how I would publish it. Since you are the only person that I know and has published a book successfully, I was going to ask how you did it. With all the reading I've done to try and figure it out, nothing makes sense. If you could give me an idea of how to do it or some people to contact, that would be amazingly helpful.
Elizabeth says she misses you and that she wishes you were teaching instead of the new teacher. I don't really blame her, the new teacher is super weird and annoying and rude.
I wish you were still here in Missouri, but I also hope you are enjoying your time back in California.

    Sincerely,
    RaeAnn

    1. I don't know if you even check the blog, but I hope you do because I was meaning to tell you all this before you left but I never got the chance. Hope you come visit Missouri sometimes!
